WORCESTER- Aaron Ritchie Knowlton, 31, passed away on April 2, 2019.
He was born in Worcester on April 2, 1988 the son of Kirk A. and Cheryl (Ritchie) Knowlton. Aaron was raised in Worcester and graduated from St. John's High School where he completed 7 AP courses and received the National Merit Scholarship. From there, he attended Bentley University where he graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance.
A brilliant young man, he began work at Fidelity Investments where he quickly rose through the ranks. He was a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Risk Analyst. Aaron was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots. He was fortunate to attend several games and even got the opportunity to meet Vince Wilfork while tailgating with friends at Gillette Stadium. He possessed an adventurous spirit and enjoyed reading, traveling to the West Coast and even skydiving.
He will be forever loved and missed by many including his parents, Kirk and Cheryl Knowlton; his grandmother, Martha J. Knowlton; his favorite uncle, Leland Prentice Knowlton, Jr., (aka Prent); numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins; and his best friends, Steven Natale, Jay D'Andrea and Greg Hebson.
In accordance with his wishes there will be no calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. The Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
