Abigail Morales

WORCESTER-Abigail Morales, 74, of Worcester passed away Friday, July 1 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center.

She leaves two children, Victor Martinez and his wife, Sonja of Leicester and Jessica Burgos and her husband, Jorge of Fitchburg; seven grandchildren, Lilana, Jessibelle, Jorge, Gliseria, Victor Manuel, Miguel, and Louis; several great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Francheska Morales Ramos, Judith Morales, Luis Moreno, Peter Moreno, Eileen Moreno, Marilyn Moreno, Norma Moreno, Nilsa Cartagena and Maria Moreno. A brother, Alex Moreno predeceased her. She was born in, Santa Isabel, PR daughter of Candido Morales and Paula (Cartagena) Miranda. She received her master’s degree from Quinsigamond College.

Abigail worked as a scheduler at UMASS Memorial Health Administrative Offices  and at the Edward Kennedy Center. She loved cooking and listening to music, especially, Marc Anthony.

Visiting Hours are Wednesday, July 6 from 5 to 7pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 7 at 11am in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Burial will follow in Notre Cemetery.
