Adolfo R. Boix

WORCESTER-Adolfo R. Boix, 86, died Wednesday, December 24 at home, surrounded by his family.

He was predeceased by his wife Gilda Boix on October 7, 2009. Mr. Boix is survived by a daughter Laima R. Cespedes and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Adolfo Rene Cespedes.

He was born in Santiago de Cuba, son of Maximo Cespedes and Dora Boix and moved to the United States in 1965. He worked at Commonwealth Spring Company for several years.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 30 from CALLAHAN~FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 in the Cathedral of St. Paul, 15 Chatham Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery. A visiting hour will also be held on Tuesday from 8:30-9:30 am in the funeral home.
