WORCESTER
Aglaia (Papalilo) Papa, died Tuesday, December 6 at home surrounded by her family.
Her husband of 45 years, Alexandre D. Papa died in 1996. She leaves two daughters, Cynthia and her husband, Mario Topuzi of Worcester and Vasilika and her husband, Vasil Isildakli of Paxton; two grandchildren, Daniella and her husband, Craig Napolitano of Worcester and Dino Isildakli of Boston; a great-grandchild; a brother; a sister; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Permeti, Albania daughter of Apostol and Floricha (Cavara) Papalilo and came to Worcester in 1969.
She owned and operated the former Puritan Restaurant on Main Street in Worcester, a business she founded with her loving husband in 1971. She was a member of Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Aglaia's hospice nurses, Paulette and Sharon for their compassionate care and support.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 10AM in Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial is private. Visiting Hours are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street, Worcester, 01609. Arrangements in the care of CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street.
