Albert Sachimo Akuoko

WORCESTER-Albert Akuoko, alias Sachimo, of 11 Shannon Street, died Wednesday, December 27 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves three sons, Frank Akuoko in Ghana, Michael and Sam Akuoko, both in London; a daughter, Jennifer Akuoko in Ghana; two sisters, Madam Afua Gyapomaa and Miss Harriet Boakye; eight brothers, Nana Agyekumhene Brempong, alias Tom Sawyer, Akwamuhene, Asante Effiduasi, Mr. Kwabena Frimpong of Toronto, Canada, Mr. Sam Owusu and his wife Mama Christie of Worcester, Mr. Kofi Owusu Antwi of Leominster, Rev. Ankoma-Amoah, Nana Yaw Brefo-Ababio, Alhaji Mo Amoakohene, Mr. & Mrs. Kissi-Ampomah, all of Worcester; his ex-wife, Joyce Agyei-Kyem in London. He was born in Kumasi, Ghana the son of Opanin Kwadwo Akuoko and Madam Akosua Ntiwah who predeceased him. The entire family announces with deep sense of sorrow, the untimely death of their beloved.

Calling hours will be held Friday, January 12 from 6-9 PM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 13 at 9:00 AM in the funeral home.
