Albert Geneva 60, of 245 West Boylston St. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, surrounded by his loving family, after a battle with diabetes and kidney failure at the Holy Trinity Rehabilitation Center.
He leaves two brothers, Louis K. Geneva of Mill Valley, CA and John P. Geneva of West Boylston; two sisters, Betty A. Perry of West Boylston and Carolyn Roux of Sterling; nieces and nephews and two cats. He was born in Worcester, son of Angelo W. and Sophie (Marchalewicz) Geneva and graduated from West Boylston High School.
Mr. Geneva worked for Norton Company for 18 years and the Town of West Boylston Highway Department and most recently at the Nutrition Source in West Boylston.
He was a volunteer West Boylston Firefighter, a member of the Worcester Surf Casters Club, the Shrewsbury Sportsmen’s Club and was an avid ten pin bowler and enjoyed gardening.
The Funeral will be held Saturday, July 17, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St. with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton St., Jefferson. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are Saturday, July 17, from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
