Worcester-Albina H. ( Valincus) Bartlett, 100, died at Dodge Park Rest Home on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
Albina's husband of 60 years, Lester G. Bartlett, Jr., predeceased her in 2008. She leaves three nieces, Dr. Wendy Alexander and her husband Brian of Catonsville, Maryland, Glenda A. Taylor and her husband William of Fredericksburg, VA, and Lisa A. Coleman and her husband Gary of Derry, N.H., a nephew Russell A. Bartlett, Jr. and his wife Susan of Windham, N.H., three great nephews, six great nieces, eight great-great nephews and ten great-great Nieces. She was predeceased by her sister Ruth Taparamskas and a niece Judith R. Taperamskas.
Albina was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph A. and Theophilia (Patrick) Valincus. She worked in sales and purchasing for the former Mac-Ben Sporting Goods in Worcester for 20 years, was an avid cook and loved animals. Her happiest moments were spending time with the love of her life Lester.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16 in the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Burial will be in the Boscawen Veterans Cemetery in New Hampshire. Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15 in the funeral home.
