Alexander W. LaBaire of Worcester, formerly of West Boylston died Sunday, November 29 in Notre Dame Long Term Care.
His wife of 50 years and the love of his life, Beverly M. (Wallace) LaBaire died in 1994. He leaves two daughters, Sharon L. Bullens and her husband Thomas of Worcester and Katherine A. Flynn and her companion, Leon Mallach of Gloucester; four grandchildren, Brian, Steven, Rhonda and Tara; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Arthur; two sisters, Bernadette and Theresa and nieces and nephews. Several brothers and sisters predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of William and Celanire (Adams) LaBaire and graduated from Commerce High School and was a Veteran of WWII serving as a First Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps.
Alexander retired as an Engineer from the New England Telephone Company after many years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and the Harold N. Keith American Legion Post %23204. He did volunteer work for the New England Telephone Pioneers and was an avid artist and a jack of all trades.
Alexander was a loving, husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Burial was private in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
