WORCESTER-Alexis Felix Santiago, 46, was born to parents Felix and Maria (Vasquez) Santiago on November 22, 1971 in the Dominican Republic. On Thursday, November 15, 2018 he passed away at UMass Medical Center after a battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Denny Liz, a son, Alexis J. Santiago and three daughters, Alexandra, Sabrina and Alenny Santiago. Alexis also leaves his siblings, Ediberto, Luis, Roberto, Diogenes, Gladys, Raquel and Yuberkys, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister Maria Paulino on November 1, 2017.
Alexis most recently worked as a truck driver for Halliburton Company for several years. He had an outgoing personality and was an active business owner in the Worcester Latino community for many years. His family and friends will miss his positivity and ability to fill a room with sound and laughter. Alexis enjoyed all sports and especially loved to follow the Red Sox.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, November 18th from 2:00 until 5:00 pm at Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at the Cathedral of St. Paul, 15 Chatham Street to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon on Monday, November 19th. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
