Alma M. Colangelo

WEST BOYLSTON-Alma M. (LoStracco) Colangelo, 93, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Her husband of 57 years, Joseph L. Colangelo passed away in 1993. She leaves her son, George J. Colangelo and her daughter, Mary Jane Carlson both of West Boylston; seven grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Amy Colangelo, Elisabeth and her husband Mitchell Sanders, Jennifer and her husband James Glickman, Robert and his wife Kimberly Carlson, Diana and her husband Michael Carey, Linda and her husband David Eli and Joseph Carlson. She also leaves 13 great grandchildren, Samuel, Abigail, Jonathan, Mia, Benjamin, Jonah, Max, Danielle, Devin, Ashley, Emily, Stephanie and Robert. She is also survived by a brother, Adolfo LoStracco of Italy and three sisters, Loretta Tobacco of Italy, Flora Ventresca of California and Maria Sakellarion of Clinton and many nieces and nephews.

She was born in Boston the daughter of Carmen and Angela (LoStracco) LoStracco and lived in West Boylston for many years. She was a member of Our lady of Good Counsel Church and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Liberty Club in Clinton.

The funeral will be Thursday, January 24 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, January 23 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the West Boylston Council on Aging, 120 Prescott St., West Boylston, MA 01583.
