Alvin J. Blash Sr., 72 of Worcester Ma., A Navy Veteran, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 51 years, Marylou (Millette) Blash. Alvin was predeceased by his son Robert M Blash in 2003, his father Edward G Blash Sr., his mother Hazel B Blash, two brothers Michael Blash and John Blash Sr.. Alvin leaves behind his son Alvin J Blash Jr. and his wife Amy Blash and their three children Aaron, Brianna, and Hannah Blash of Worcester, a daughter, Kristen (Cativo) Blash, her seven children, Allyssa, Carlos Jr., Roberto, Nicklus, Aracelli, Julianna, and Daniel Cativo of California and his deceased son Robert Blash's daughter Brandie Blash of Upper Lake California., four sisters, Dorothy T Loader and her two daughters, Beverly Clark and her husband David and their three sons, Carol M Servideo and her husband Daryl and their three daughters and a son, Joanne F Lehr and two sons, and a brother Edward G Blash Jr. and his two sons and a daughter, and six nieces and nephews by his deceased brother John.
Alvin was born in Worcester and retired from The City of Worcester's Park Department. He enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox games.
A Private funeral service will be held at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, 01605
