Amelia M. Day

Amelia M. (McLeod) Day 81, of 28 Keyes St. died Sunday (March24) in UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Lake Ave. Campus, Worcester after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 57 years, Harry C. Day, a daughter, Barbara D. Lund of Boylston, a sister, Elma Campbell of West Boylston, nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester daughter of Merdic and Alice (Lynch) McLeod. She graduated from North High School and Becker Junior College.

She was a bookkeeper for Ericson Associates in Worcester for several years before retiring.

She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.

A Private Funeral will be held Wednesday (March27) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are Private. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Fund.
