WORCESTER — Ana Rosa Morán Cabello, 85, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, January 3, at UMass Memorial Medical Center. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nestor Teodoro Cabello Suarez.

 She leaves behind her five children: Darwin Willy Morán Cabello and his husband, Christopher M. Henry, of Worcester, and their son, Kevin Carreiro-Henry; Boris V. Cabello of Worcester; Richard N. Cabello of Phoenix, Arizona, and his children, Tristan Cabello and Danielle Ruff; Glennis J. Cabello of Worcester; and Walter J. Cabello of Worcester.

 She also leaves six siblings: Ines Arcos and her husband, Miguel Arcos, of Samborondón, Ecuador; Noemi Morán of Miami, Florida; Argentina Gomez and her husband, Hugo Gomez, of Middle Village, New York; Mirtha Morán of Middle Village, New York; Eduardo Morán of Worcester; and Alberto Morán and his wife, Nelly Rivadeneira, of Guayaquil, Ecuador; along with many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her. 

She was also predeceased by her brother, Juan Morán, of New York, New York. 

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Ana was the first born daughter of Juan Pablo Morán Rizzo and Rosalia Mendoza Morán. She was a devoted wife and homemaker whose life revolved around family and connection. Ana had a deep appreciation for living well — she enjoyed traveling, sharing stories, and being present with the people she loved most. Some of her happiest moments were spent talking with her siblings for hours, having conversations filled with laughter and memories. 

Visiting Hours are Tuesday, January 13 from 5 to 7pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Burial arrangements will be private.
