Anastatia M. (Powers) Wayman 82, of Worcester, died Monday (Feb.17) at Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, after an illness.
Her husband William F. Wayman died in 1992. She leaves two sons, William F. Wayman Jr. of Hackettstown, NJ and Robert E. Wayman of Worcester, two daughters, Sheryl A. Cusson of Brimfield and Patti L. Prest of Webster, a brother, Thomas Powers of Margate, FL, a sister, Patricia Thebodo of Shrewsbury, five grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Barron) Powers. She graduated from St. Peter's High School.
She was a Cost Accountant for the David Clark Company for many years retiring several years ago.
She was a member of Saint Margaret Mary's Church.
A Funeral will be held Thursday (Feb.20) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. (www.faybrothers.com) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Margaret Mary's Church 75 Alvarado Ave. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Webster. Calling Hours are Wednesday (Feb.19) from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
