FALMOUTH/WORCESTER-Andrea Rose (LaRoche) Anderson, 91, formerly of Woodward St. and Grove St., Worcester died Sunday, May 7. She married Edwin Anderson on June 27, 1936 at Hope Congregational Church who passed away in 2000. She leaves three children, Paul Anderson and his wife Sandra of Grafton, Joan Garner and her husband Mitch of E. Falmouth and Betty Ann Joinville and her husband David of Charlton; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a sister, Grace Goeb of Tampa, FL, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by seven siblings.
She was born in Pittsburg, NH on january 17, 1915 the daughter of Edmond and Exelia (Lamontage) LaRoche. She resided in Worcester for 60 years before moving to Falmouth in 2003. She most recently lived at the Royal Nursing Center where she was a member of the Trivial Pursuit Team and attended many activities. Andrea was formerly active in the Worcester Chapter of the Salvation Army, the Auburn Senior Citizens, Worcester AARP and the Park Congregational Church in Worcester. She loved gardening and playing cards with family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held Thursday, May 11 at All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester.
