Brookfield - Angel L. Diaz, 48, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 23rd, 2024. Born in Worcester on December 26th, 1975, son of Martha Diaz-Dufresne and Nathan C. Benson. Angel led a remarkable life filled with passion and dedication.
Angel was known for his successful career as the owner of his own limousine company, "Above Average Joe's". His entrepreneurial spirit and hard work were evident to all who knew him. He graduated from South High School and carved a successful path for himself in the business world.
Beyond his professional achievements, Angel's true joy in life came from his family. He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them above all else. His kind and loving personality touched the lives of many.
In his leisure time, Angel found immense pleasure in various hobbies and interests. Whether indulging in fantasy football - with a particular fondness for the Kansas City Chiefs - writing poetry, or decorating homes, he approached each pursuit with enthusiasm and creativity. Angel also enjoyed poker nights, yard sale-ing adventures, fishing, and exploring different corners of the world as a dedicated traveler. His collection of trinkets reflected his vibrant spirit and love for life.
Among his proudest accomplishments were coaching baseball and football teams while generously volunteering his time to support others in need. Angel's dedication to making a positive impact on those around him was unwavering.
Angel is survived by his daughter Angellese E. Camacho and husband Brian W. Camacho of Leicester; a son Christopher Cintron of Worcester; grandchildren Aubrielle, Braden, Cory, Xaiver and Avery; grandmother Frances Benson of Worcester; sister Darshia Diaz; brother Tierre Diaz; step brothers, step sisters, nieces, nephews, Godmother, Godfather, family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Evarista Diaz, Cirilo Diaz and William Benson.
Angel L. Diaz will be remembered as a pillar of strength within both his family and the community he called home. His legacy of kindness, hard work, and love will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
