West Boylston~Angela M. Giobellina, 76, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, at UMass Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Holden and raised in West Boylston, Angela was a proud graduate of West Boylston High School and went on to attend Clark University on a full scholarship. She dedicated her professional life to education, serving as a high school math teacher in Ayer, Mass., where she was respected for her intelligence, patience, and commitment to her students.
After retiring from teaching, Angela devoted her time and energy to her family, becoming her brother’s right-hand helper at Swiss Valley Farm and Giobellina Rubbish Removal, Trucking, and Firewood Company. The two were inseparable—rarely seen without one another—and their bond was the foundation of both their work and their lives.
Angela had a love for driving her Camaro, often taking leisurely rides around the reservoir, always on the lookout for swans. In earlier years, she enjoyed traveling the world, cruising in the Caribbean, and treasured time spent at her place on Cape Cod. She was known for her quiet strength, loyalty to family, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
She is survived by her sister, Catherine A. (Giobellina) Bjorklund, and her husband, Steve; her sister-in-law, Beth M. (Kroyak) Giobellina; her nieces and nephew Kelly, Amanda (Mike), Robert (Jodie), Jessica, and Maria; and her great-nieces and great-nephews Molly, Ean, Lucy, Ryan, and Mason; She also leaves a sister, Marie C. (Giobellina) Folckemer.
