OXFORD-Angela M. Gonyea, 29, passed away Monday, July 29th at Hubbard Hospital after several years of a valiant struggle with kidney failure.
She leaves her parents, Georgana M. and Alan E. Gonyea; a brother, Robert R. Gonyea all of Dudley; her maternal grandmother, Mary Fox of Worcester and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, among them, her uncles Richard and Steven Fox, both of Worcester. She was born in Worcester and graduated from St. Peter’s High School where she participated on the Math Team, Mock Trial Team, Girl's Golf Team, and was a Varsity Cheerleader. In 2017, she graduated from Worcester State University, Magna Cum Laude, with two degrees.
Angela worked at Polar Beverages for 13 years. Angela was an adventurous soul. She was happiest traveling, going to concerts, cooking, and hosting dinners for her friends and taking care of her beloved pets.
Visiting Hours will be held Sunday, August 4 from 4 to 6pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be in Charlton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation c/o www.kidney.org
