Ann Lee Anderson

Ann Lee O’Connell Anderson, age 89, of Worcester MA formerly of Paxton, MA, passed away on August 19, 2022 from complications of recent surgery.

She was the oldest child of the late Paul Revere O'Connell and Helen Lee O’Connell. Ann is survived by her daughter, Sarah W. Anderson of Holden MA, her sisters, Mary Lee Jamieson of Princeton NJ and Helen Lee Sunderland of Weston MA, and her brother, Paul Revere O’Connell, Jr. of Manitou Springs CO. Ann was predeceased by her husband Albert G. Anderson, the former Head Librarian of both Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Clark University.

Ann was born in Worcester MA. She attended Bancroft School, and graduated from Walnut Hill School, Smith College and the Harvard School of Education. With her husband, she pursued her interests in gardening, antiques and refinishing furniture.

Ann was cheerful, determined and loyal. She was admired by her friends and many others.

Private services are scheduled for the family only. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Worcester Center for Crafts, 25 Sagamore Road, Worcester MA. Arrangements are in the care of the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
