WORCESTER- Ann Hovanesian, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 7, 2018 at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
She was born in Worcester on August 24, 1924 a daughter of the late Levon and Agavne (Gostanian) Hovanesian. She attended local schools and graduated from South High School.
Through the years Ms. Hovanesian worked for Mechanics Bank, Denholm and McKay, Barnards, the Telegram and Gazette and later at Fallon Clinic. She was a member of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church and enjoyed listening to classical music and attending the Worcester Music Festival.
She leaves behind her brother, Ralph V. Hovanesian and his wife, S. Barbara of Paxton; two nephews, Peter and Paul, and a niece, Elaine Ramsey and her husband, Robert. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, John and Vram Hovanesian.
In accordance to her wishes funeral arrangements will be held privately and are in the care of Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
