WORCESTER-Ann V. (Cook) Peterson, 93, formerly of Coes Pond Village, passed away Saturday, February 19 at Radius Healthcare. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph C. Peterson in 1981. She leaves two daughters, Joanne E. Gosselin of Worcester and Gail L. Sheehan of Auburn; a sister, Josephine Kozlowski of Worcester; five grandchildren, Michael Gosselin, Michelle Laliberte, Beth King, Christina White and Richard Philips; seven great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carla J. Sullivan, grandson James King, great-granddaughter Danielle Reschke, four brothers and two sisters.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Sever and Vincenta (Saurusitis) Cook. Ann worked as a clerk at the Salvation Army Boutique on Cambridge Street for many years until the age of 85. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and was an avid Bingo and card player.
Ann's funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 22 from LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street with an 11 AM Mass at Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Parish, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will follow in All Faith's Cemetery. Visiting hours will also be held on Tuesday, February 22 from 9-10:30 AM in the funeral home.
