WORCESTER- Ann M. (Callahan) Voellings, 94, passed away peacefully at the Odd Fellows Home of Worcester.
She was born in Harrisville, NH on October 1, 1926, daughter of the late Frank Callahan and Francis Weymouth. She was predeceased by four brothers; Fred, Bob, John and William. She attended local schools in Millbury, MA and when living in Quinsigamond Village, Worcester. She worked as a teenager in the old Grafton State Hospital, she sold Avon when you went door to door. She worked many jobs but mostly as a waitress for many years and in healthcare as a home health aide and nurse's aide at Spring Valley Nursing Home in Worcester.
She leaves behind her daughters, Nancy A. Foster and her husband, Thomas of Shrewsbury and Joan M. Gregg of Shrewsbury; four grandchildren, Melanie Isla, Thomas Foster, Eileen Purcell and Christine Dawson; ten great grandchildren, Sean, John, Lori, Lauryn, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Jason, Samantha, Marcel and Elijah and eight great great grandchildren, Dani, Ayden, Noah, Addelyn, Isabelle, Hazel, Olivia and Ty; several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Funeral will take place in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Homes, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, MA.
