Anna Mae Mawhinney

SOUTHBRIDGE: Anna Mae (Maffei) Mawhinney, 66, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Southbridge Rehab & Nursing, after an illness.

She is survived by her son, Michael R. Mawhinney; and two brothers, Andrew and Thomas Maffei.

Anna was born in Natick, daughter of the late Andrew & Edwina (Sallaway) Maffei. She was a graduate of Westborough High School, Class of 1977. She lived most of her life in Webster.

A Graveside Service in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Natick, will be held at a later date. 

Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, is assisting the family.
