WORCESTER-Anna Marie (O'Connor) Soulliere at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, Sunday, May 7 after an illness. Her husband, retired Col. Edward J. Soulliere, Sr., USAF died in 1994.

She leaves a son, Edward J. Soulliere, Jr. of Englewood, CO four daughters, Anne-Marie Soulliere of Newton, Ellen F. Soulliere of Wellington, New Zealand, Laura Soulliere Gates of Pineville, LA and Kathleen L. Soulliere of Philadelphia, PA; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Soulliere was born in Worcester the daughter of Dr. John F. and Anna L. (Bourke) O'Connor and lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of the former Classical High School and Wellesley College where she earned a Master of Arts degree in Latin. She took graduate courses at Clark University and at the Harvard School of Education and taught in private and public schools and at the former Worcester Natural History Museum.

A past president of the Worcester Wellesley Club, she was also a member of Wellesley College Club. Active in community affairs, she was a corporator of the Central Massachusetts YWCA and a former member of the YWCA Board of Directors. She later served on the Board of the Friends of the Worcester Public Library and for many years was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Elm Park Associates.

The funeral will be Tuesday, May 9 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St. There are no visiting hours. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
