Anne E. Crowley, age 61, of Cranberry Township, PA, passed away on Monday afternoon, August 5, 2024 in her home.
Born in Worcester, Mass. on February 3, 1963, Anne was the daughter of the late Denis M. Crowley, a Worcester businessman and benefactor and Phyllis A. Rawding, who was a longstanding English professor at Worcester State University. They enjoyed summers in Monument Beach, a village in Bourne, Cape Cod. She was preceded in death by her parents and half sister, Wendy Canale.
Anne graduated from the Worcester Academy in 1981 where she was a member of the Sailing and Ski Clubs and was the secretary of the Legacy Society. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester in 1985.
She is survived by many cousins who fondly remember her as enjoying hiking, canoeing, skiing, and sailing. They recall her keen intellect, curiosity about science and the natural world, and wicked sense of humor.
A Private burial will be held in St. John’s Cemetery.
