Anne Marie Killoran

d. April 9, 2005

WORCESTER-Anne Marie Killoran, 54, of St Camillus Health Center, Whitinsville, formerly of Whitmarsh Avenue, Worcester, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Milford Regional Hospital. She was born in Worcester and lived 23 years in San Francisco before returning to Worcester in 1996 due to an illness. The daughter of the late James J. Killoran and Margaret A. (Loughlin) Killoran, Anne Marie is survived by her sister Maureen T. Alexander and her husband David Alexander of South Grafton, her brother James J. Killoran and his wife Diana Torres-Killoran, of New York, two nephews, Daniel and Joseph Killoran of New York, and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Anne Marie was a graduate of Marian Central Catholic High School in Worcester and Anna Maria College in Paxton. She was a legal secretary for Pettit & Martin Law firm in San Francisco and also owned a crafts business, Fleur de Leis.

Her life in San Francisco was filled with her love of watercolor painting as well as running in the Bay to Breakers marathon for 10 years. Ironically, Anne Marie always walked for the Multiple Sclerosis Society before she became ill with the disease herself. Throughout her illness, she never lost her positive outlook on life. The real loves of her life were her family, her friends and her devotion to her faith. She was a proud Democrat and a loyal Red Sox fan. She formed incredible friendships in San Francisco, which sustained her through her illness, despite her return to Massachusetts. She loved music but had a special place in her heart for the Beatles. In her early days, she was the consummate student who later became the ultimate teacher of life. All who met her loved her and became better people for having had her in their life. She will be deeply missed.

The funeral will be held Thursday, April 14 from Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 89 Main St., South Grafton. Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. www.callahanfay.com
