Annemarie Theresa McGrail

SANDWICH-Annemarie Theresa (Parsons) McGrail, 76, formerly of Worcester passed away Friday, January 14, 2011.

Her husband, Robert F. McGrail passed away in 1998. She leaves her beloved son, Robert J. "RJ" McGrail of Dorchester, her sister-in-law, Anna North of Sandwich and many nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Henry, William and Thomas predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Henry F. and Teresa (Noone) Parsons and graduated from Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. After graduation she worked at Worcester City Hospital and then UMass Medical Center until her retirement in 1998. Upon her retirement she moved to beloved Cape Cod.

Mrs. McGrail's funeral will be on Tuesday, January 18 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Mass at 12:30 PM at Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting hours will be on Monday, January 17 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
