WORCESTER-Anthony Kinyua, 11, of Worcester passed away Thursday, Jan. 28 in St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves his parents, Joseph and Josephine (Makimei) Kinyua; two sisters, Catherine Kinyua (Worcester) and Vivian Kinyua (Kenya); his maternal grandmother, Esther Makimei of Kenya; his paternal grandmother, Lisphar Githinji of Kenya; uncles, David and his wife Mercy Kihara, Geoffrey Githinji and James Makimei (Kenya) and uncle G.; aunties, M. Wangeci, Nancy Muriu, Christine Makimei (Kenya), Irene Irungu and many cousins. An aunt, Eunice Makimei predeceased him. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya.
Anthony was in the 5th grade at West Tatnuck Elementary School.
The Funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Service at 10 AM in the First Assembly of God Church, 30 Tyler Prentice Rd. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Friday, Feb. 5 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
