WORCESTER- Auston Jon Gipson, 25, passed away suddenly on April 29, 2020 at UMass Medical Center.
He was predeceased by his mother, Nekia I. Etuk who died on March 30, 2017.
He was born in Worcester on October 11, 1994 and resided in the City all of his life. Auston was a member and musician of the New Horizon Church of God in Christ. Auston will be remembered for his smile, humor, and love for shopping and cooking. He also had interests in photography and blogging.
He leaves behind his father Kenneth Robison of Texas. His sisters Hannah Abubakar & Zette Gipson of Sturbridge. Sisters Zoe Hebert, Lexias Ozen, Kenyatta Robison, Kenyante Robison, & Kendia Nails of Texas. Brother Jajuan Martin of Florida. Grandparents Ingrid Adade and Pastor Joseph Adade of Worcester. Great Aunt Yolanda Gipson, of Texas. His Aunts Ohemaa Dowling, Carol Torres, Dinah Yeboah and his uncles AJ Adade, Kwadwo Adade, Daniel Adade, Marshal Etuk and large loving group of cousins, extended family members and friends.
Due to the ongoing health crisis and resulting government restrictions, funeral services will be held privately with burial at Hope Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
