WORCESTER - Barbara Ann Amyot, 49 years young, of Hope Avenue, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara was predeceased by her son, Derek C. Squires. She leaves her twin sons, Chans C. and Zachary M. Squires and their father, Morris J. Squires, Jr.; her parents, Francis M. and Kathleen A. Zicuis; her four sisters and two brothers, Paula A. Fournier, Kimberly A. Porr and her husband, David, Colleen A. Amyot and her partner, Justin Kazmierczak, Melissa Lynn Zicuis and partner, Daniel W. Hanzarak, Sr., Christopher P. Zicuis Robin D. Zicuis and his wife, Monica as well as several nieces and nephews; as well as her close and dear friend, Michael Zorge.
Barbara worked for several years for the Providence House Nursing Home and was also a Certified Registered Instrument Technician (CRCST) at Memorial Hospital for 13 years and then at Harrington Hospital, Southbridge for two years. Barbara loved being outdoors, whether it was taking walks in the sun or sitting relaxing at the dam and by the water. Her greatest pleasures were spent with her twin boys as well as her family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 28 from 5-8 p.m. at the CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
