Barbara F. (Hannen) Dumas, 51, of Worcester died Tues., Dec. 25, in St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves her husband, Paul F. Dumas; three children, Daniel P., Robert F. and Paula F. all of Worcester; six siblings, Kathleen and her husband Robert Morrissey of Worcester, Stephen P. and his companion Donna Stevens of No. Brookfield, James M. and his wife Sheila Hannen of Worcester, John R. Hannen and his wife Jennifer Marquis of Leicester, Sue M. and her husband George Bobo of Boone, GA and Robert C. and his wife Gilda Hannen of Worcester and nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of James B. and G. Virginia (Shepard) Hannen and graduated from Worcester Vocational High School.
Barbara was an instructional assistant for the Worcester Public Schools for 23 years, before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and the Seven Hills Foundation.
The funeral will be held Sat., Dec. 29, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church , 1222 Main St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends are invited to the Worcester Lodge of Elks, Mill St. following funeral services. Visiting Hours are Fri. Dec. 28, from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
