Naples, FL – Barbara Lee (Girrior) Lincoln, 85 formerly of Framingham and Marlborough, died peacefully on June 24, 2018 in Naples.
Barbara was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Louis P. and Marguerite (St. Anthony) Girrior and grew up in Needham. She graduated from the Boston Conservatory of Music, where she studied piano.
Barbara was the wife of the late Louis A. Lincoln, who died in 1983. Following the death of her husband, Barbara continued to operate their family business, Lincoln Industrial Fasteners in Hopkinton until its sale. For several years following that, Barbara provided daycare for many families in the Marlborough and later, in Naples.
Barbara leaves a legacy of always seeing the best in everyone and facing every day with a strong, sense of determination. To her family, Barbara will be remembered as someone who always spread love, kindness, generosity and forgiveness to all.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her daughter, Beth Elworthy-Magner of Holden, her son Lee Elworthy; her three sisters, Mary Beth Mcgennis, Jane Ford, Pamela Linehan and her brother-in-law and dear friend, Jim Megennis, always a source of strength for Barbara; her two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Magner and Thomas Jarrett "TJ" Magnell. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Elworthy Magnell.
Barbara's family will receive guests on Saturday, July 28th from 1-3 p.m. at Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston, with a Life Celebration service during that time.
