Worcester-Barry R. Perkins, 61, of Worcester passed away Sunday, March 8 in St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 17 years, Paula E. (Amons) Perkins; a daughter, Leah Perkins; a grand-daughter, Nyell Conyer both of Worcester; his mother, Sophie (Vergis) Perkins Ouellette of Haverhill; three siblings, David Perkins and his wife, Maureen of Haverhill; Linda Mulligan and her husband, Frank of Dover, NH; and Timothy Perkins and his wife, Donna of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews. His first wife, Joan M. (Hartnett) Perkins died in 1994. He was born in Haverhill, son of the late, Kenneth R. Perkins and was the Class of 72' President of Haverhill Trade School. Barry lived in Maine for over 20 years,settling down in Worcester, several years ago.
Barry was carpenter by trade and a proud contractor. He was life long member of the John Greenleaf Whittier Chapter order of Demolay. Barry loved his family and enjoyed skiing the slopes of New England.
Visiting Hours are Saturday, March 14 from 11:00 am to 12:30pm with a Funeral Service at 12:30pm in FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston.
