Ware - Mr. Bartholomew F. Monopoli, Sr, formerly of Worcester and Ware, died Wednesday, March 28. He was 66.
His wife, Carol S. (Raymond) Monopoli died Feb. 16, 2001. He leaves his children, Bartholomew F. Monopoli, Jr. of Chicopee, Deborah M. Monopoli-Brunell of Brookfield and Donna M. Spera of Clayton, North Carolina; a brother, Matteo Monopoli of Washington; a close friend, Paula Anne Waskiewicz of Wales; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Rinaldo) Monopoli. He moved to Wales fifteen years ago and Ware last year. He served in the United States Army.
He was a truck driver for Commercial Sales & Service and Chicago Beef Co., before retiring.
The Funeral is Saturday from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:00AM in The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 24 Mulberry Street.
