It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bentiti Sarpong also known as Chief Akwasi Adomako, a beloved father, brother, and son, who left us far too soon on May 17, 2025, in West Virginia. Chief’s life was a testament to love, family, and kindness, and he leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
Chief was born in Kumasi, Ghana to Kwabena and Comfort (Boateng) Sarfo. He went to high school at Prempeh College. He is survived by his children, siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the incredible life Chief lived and the countless lives he touched. Chief’s personality shone bright throughout his life, characterized by his loving, respectful and caring demeanor. His pride came from his wonderful children - his greatest accomplishment.
Chief will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will forever be a guiding light, reminding us to cherish one another, to embrace family, and to lead with love.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate and remember Chief’s Life at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester on Saturday, July 12th from 8:00am until 10:00am. Burial will follow at 11:00am in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester.
