WORCESTER-Bernice (Paloulian) Kachadorian, 92, of Worcester passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, with her family by her side, at Holy Trinity Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of the late Margaditch "Mike" Paloulian and Armenian Genocide Survivor Hiripsime "Rose" (Lalaian) Paloulian. She is predeceased by her husband Leon H. Kachadorian, son, Paul D. Kachadorian, sisters; Beatrice Toromanian and her husband Nish, Pearl Arakelian and her husband George "Cookie", June Bogoian and her husband George, and brother-in-law, Harry Kachadorian.
She is survived by her two sons, Mark H. Kachadorian and his wife Cynthia of Oxford and Leon M. Kachadorian and his wife, Christine of Worcester; her grandchildren, Hayleigh O'Halloran and her husband Jay, Lauren Quinn and her husband Tim, Jason Kachadorian, Ian Kachadorian, Lindsey DiLeo and her husband Paul, and Leah Kachadorian. She was also blessed with her great- grandchildren; Teagan and Ryan O'Halloran and Gemma and Sonny DiLeo, in addition to her loving sister-in-law, Priscilla Kachadorian and many nieces and nephews.
Bernice graduated from Commerce High School and later went on to work for State Mutual Insurance Company, the Worcester Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Massachusetts Department of Social Services.
Bernie will always be remembered for her love of her family, cooking, and baking. She was very involved with the Armenian Church and was a Daughter of Vartan. She always loved a good card game and enjoyed taking trips to the Casino with her sister, June.
The Kachadorian Family would like to thank the staff at Holy Trinity Nursing Home for the excellent care they provided for many years. Bernie will truly be missed by all.
A Visiting Hour will be held Tuesday, April5 from 10-11am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11am in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester 01609.
