OXFORD- Bertrand G. Lemay, 88, passed away on August 2, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Grace (Gadaire) Lemay, who passed away in 2005.
He was born in River Rouge, Michigan on September 5, 1928 a son of the late%C2%A0Roland%C2%A0C. And Dorothy T. (Germain) Lemay. For many years Bert worked for Timex a division of General Electric. He and his wife enjoyed making crafts and putting together flower arrangements, which they would sell on the weekends at local flea markets and in his younger years he was an avid golfer. Mr. Lemay was an entrepreneur in every sense of the word. In the 1970s he ventured into the restaurant business and purchased Dantes Inferno. He also stayed busy buying and flipping real estate around the Worcester area and by taking these risks it allowed him to retire early. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling to the casino to%C2%A0 try his luck. Bert was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Bert is survived by his loving children, Ann Marie LaCour and her husband, Bill of Phoenix, AZ., Edward and his wife, Marion Oxford, Elizabeth Sargentelli of Worcester, Paul%C2%A0and his wife, Marjorie of Nashua, NH; his siblings, Jean Gaumond of Worcester, Doris Richards and her husband, Joseph of Leicester and%C2%A0Ronald Lemay%C2%A0and his wife Gwenn of Texas; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 7th%C2%A0from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at LINDQUIST-LUNDIN Funeral Home, 36 Butler St., Worcester. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 8th%C2%A0at Sacred Heart St. Catherine of Sweden Parish, 596 Cambridge St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.%C2%A0
