Listen to Obituary

Beth M. (Maino) Robinson went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the age of sixty-six after a prolonged illness.

Beth was predeceased by her loving parents, Frances (Murray) and Albert A. Maino, Sr. She leaves her beloved children, Alicia R. Robinson and David J. Robinson, who gave her the gift of motherhood, a role she always longed for and cherished. Her heart grew even larger when they arrived. In recent years, she loved spending time with her adoring boyfriend, Michael Nixon, often watching old movies together.

She is survived by her three siblings, Theresa M. Andes and her husband Matthew of Worcester, Albert A. Maino, Jr. and his wife Felicia of West Boylston, and Michael B. Maino and his wife Joanne of Ipswich, MA. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews whom she treasured dearly and who affectionately knew her as “Honey”: Christal and her husband Erik, Molly and her husband Steve, Anthony and his wife Amanda, Matthew, Jack, Val, and Sarah. Her family always loved her signature ALL CAPS texts, full of encouragement and enthusiastic use of emojis. She was their self-proclaimed “biggest fan and loudest cheerleader.”

In addition, she leaves her treasured Aunty Cindy who made her laugh and whose support was unfailing. Beth always felt blessed to have over thirty cousins with whom she shared close bonds. Her maternal instincts began with them.

Beth was born on July 30, 1959, in Worcester, Mass. Upon her birth, her mother Frances, stricken with polio at the time, miraculously regained the use of her legs.

Beth was raised in West Boylston and was a graduate of West Boylston High School and Worcester State University where she majored in English. Beth was a born teacher. She went on to teach in many school systems, achieving the role of Principal at a Texas Elementary School. Her last teaching position was a role she cherished, teaching Kindergarten, First Grade, and ESL at Belmont Street Community School in Worcester where she made sure that each child was loved and cared for in a way only she could. Her talents were endless. Her career also included working at the Grafton Job Corps and AmeriCorps and running a day care out of her home. Whatever “Honey” did, it was selfless and kindhearted.

She loved to cook from scratch, watch PBS, and spend as much time as possible with her family. She also had a passion for watching golf, especially rooting for Scottie Scheffler.

Beth’s faith guided her generosity of spirit and love for others. She was a devout Christian and the first to start the prayer chain. She volunteered at AIDS Project Worcester, the West Boylston Food Bank, and continuously volunteered to teach religious education/Bible study throughout her entire life.

The family extends their gratitude to St. Francis Nursing Home in Worcester for their compassionate care of Beth in her final days. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Travel mercies to our dear Honey.
