West Boylston

Beverly E. (Cummings) Holt 84, of 87 Maple St. died Tuesday (Dec.24) at home after an illness.

Her husband, Clare S. Holt died in 1978. She leaves two daughters, Judith E. Stevens and Nancy L. Doster both of West Boylston, 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A son Richard C. Holt of West Boylston and a daughter, Patricia J. Holt of Worcester, both predeceased her. She was born in West Bolston, daughter of William and Margie (Bates) Cummings. She graduated from Major Edwards High School.

She worked at Thom McCann's for several years, before retiring.She was a member of the First Congregational Church in West Boylston, a former member of the Grandview Country Club in Leominster, and she bowled in several candlepin and ten pin bowling leagues.

A Funeral Serive will be private at Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. (www.faybrothers.com). Burial will be in the Spring in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are Thursday (Dec.26) from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
