West Boylston - Bonnie J. Goodale, 78 peacefully passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Sterling Village after a short period of declining health.

Bonnie was born in Worcester on May 11, 1943. She was predeceased by her parents Margaret C. (Grieve) and Arnold P. Goodale. Bonnie graduated from West Boylston High School and continued her education at Bridgewater State University where she received a bachelor's degree in education and was part of the Aquamaid Synchronized swim team. Bonnie worked as an elementary school teacher in Shrewsbury and went on to teach Physical Education at West Boylston High School and Naquag Elementary in Rutland. During her time teaching at West Boylston, she was the Field Hockey coach. After retiring from teaching, Bonnie went to work at Bigelow Nursery in Northboro where she enjoyed helping people with their landscaping needs. She had a green thumb and was passionate about her plants and flowers. She lovingly cared for her mother at home until she passed in 2017. In her spare time, she loved photography, long bike rides, exploring the woods around the area and going to the movies with her close friends. Bonnie cherished spending time with her two grandsons.

Bonnie leaves many behind that will miss her dearly including her daughter, Erin Watkins and her husband, Lance, grandsons Owen and Evan Watkins of Holden; brother Richard and his wife Marlene Goodale of West Boylston; nephew Ross and his wife Megan Goodale and their sons Wesley and Jackson of Holden; niece Lauren Goodale of West Boylston; brother Bruce Goodale and his deceased wife Patricia of Saratoga Springs, NY; nephew Robert Goodale of Saratoga Springs, NY; niece Christine Goodale of Ithica, NY; her best friends Barbara and Connie and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Bonnie's life with an 11am funeral service on Tuesday, March 29th at the First Congregational Church, 26 Central St., West Boylston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Beaman Memorial Library in West Boylston.
