Brian A. McNamara

WORCESTER-Brian A. "Macky" McNamara, 49, of 34 Hope Avenue, died suddenly June 13 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife Carlene M. (Tivnan) McNamara, a son, Stephen B. McNamara of Worcester, a daughter, Shannon P. McNamara of Goodyear, AZ, his mother, Constance (Riley) Turpin of Shrewsbury, two brothers, Kevin McNamara and his wife Beverly of Worcester and Barry McNamara and his wife Patricia of Worcester, a sister, Karen Kucher and her husband Igor of Canterbury, CT, nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester the son of Joseph F. McNamara and graduated from Doherty High School. Mr. McNamara was an Iron Worker for Local 57. He was an avid fisherman and a motorcycle enthusiast.

The funeral service will be Thursday, June 16 at 11:00 AM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Wednesday, June 15 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
