WORCESTER-Candace Elena (Hamp) Black of Worcester passed to Our Lord Sunday, June 10 while vacationing with her friends at Hampton Beach, NH doing what she loved best.
She leaves her mother Sofia M. (Sargis) Hamp of Worcester; her brother, Thomas J. Hamparsoomian of Westboro; her two sisters, Janice M. Donovan and Fawn Iannitelli both of Worcester, nieces, nephews, and her loving dog, Rufus.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Thomas J. Hamp and graduated from Doherty High School and attended Quinsigamond Community College. Candy worked in many area restaurants most recent being the Piccadilly Pub and JJ O'Rourkes in Northboro. She will be sadly missed by friends and family and will bring great joy to Our Lord in Heaven as she did here.
Candy's funeral will be Friday, June 15 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St with a service at 11:00 AM at Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Visiting Hours will be Thursday, June14 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609.
