Candice Nyarko Asare-Yeboah

WORCESTER-Candice Nyarko Asare-Yeboah, age 5, gained her angel wings on Monday, May 23, 2022. A beautiful young angel whose Ghanaian birth name was Maame Afia.

Candice was born in Worcester and attended the pre-school program at Gates Lane Elementary School.

She lived briefly in Ghana with her grandparents and returned to her parents in October 2021.

She is survived by her parents, Asha Nyarko-Asare and Simon Yeboah, step stepfather Denis Opoku, her brother, Darryl; her grandparents Mr. Nsiah-Asare and Mrs. Rose Asare, aunts Mabel Brenya-Asare and Stella Acquah, uncles Alfred Asare Tawiah, Emmanuel Owusu Asare, cousins Cosby Owusu, Christabel Asieduwaa Acquah, Maxline Boabemaah Acquah, Angeliese Sika Pinaman Opoku and Blessing Acquah,

Candice will always be remembered as a clever, cheerful and energetic little girl who loved the outdoors and the color pink. She loved taking charge and bossing her brother Daryl around.

She will forever be remembered for her maturity, sense of humour and her kindness. Her memory will never fade in our minds and in our hearts, we will always hold her dear.

Funeral Services will be held from 9:30 AM–Noon on Tuesday, May 31st at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow at All Faiths Cemetery, 9 Island Road, Worcester.
