Carl E. Dejarnette 46 of 4 Crown St. died Wednesday (June 18) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center- Belmont St. Campus after an illness.

He leaves his mother Nettie (Deramus) Dejarnette of Worcester, a brother, Alexander Dejarnette of Worcester, two sisters, Julia Miller of Worcester and Wanda Dejarnette of Oklahoma, his paternal grandmother Lucille Dejarnette of Clanton, AL, several nephews and nieces and uncles and aunts. A brother Eltoro Dejarnette of Worcester died in 1990. He was born in Birmingham, AL son of Obdie Dejarnette. He graduated from Doherty High School.

He was a member of the Second Baptist Church.

A Funeral will be held Friday (June21) at 11 a.m. in Second Baptist Church 14 Hammond St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
