Carl F. Frick

Quinebaug, CT-Carl F. Frick, 88, passed away Monday, August 7 at UMASS Medical Center.

His wife of 63 years, Jane M. (Martin) Frick passed away in 2015. He leaves two children, Robert Frick and his wife, Michele of Quinebaug and Judith Friend and her husband, Thomas of Quinebaug, CT; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A son, Stephen Frick, a grandson, Robert Frick, Jr. and four siblings predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Ernest and Malvina (Johannesson) Frick.

Carl was a press operator for 45 for Wyman Gordon Company. Carl’s love for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was unparalleled. His passion in life lay in caring for his family and, above all else, treating them all with equal affection and attention. He enjoyed yearly camping trips with his many grandchildren and spent several wonderful summers with his family at the lake in Kings Campground in Sutton, MA.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, August 12 at 11:30am in section St. Lawrence at St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
