Carl Hollins, Jr, 73, of 17 Kingsbury St. died Monday (Jan28)at home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Frances (Ford) Hollins, three sons, Carl Hollins III, Sheldon L. Hollins, and Francel Hollins all of Worcester, three daughters, Carla E. Williams of Harrisville, PA, Yvonne Hollins of Warwick, RI and Courtney L. Hollins of Worcester, a step-sister, Alveda Cooke of Sacramento, CA, 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a aunt. He was born in New York City son of Carl Sr. and Elizabeth (Tutt) Hollins. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He worked for the Russell Block Parking Garage and was a School Crossing Guard for the City of Worcester prior to that he was a forger for 45 years for Wyman Gordon Co. retiring several years ago.
He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars
A Funeral will be held Thursday( Jan31) at 11 a.m. in Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling Hours are Wednesday (Jan30) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
