WORCESTER- Carol A. (Zannotti) Caramiello, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital.
She was born in Westfield on January 29, 1939, daughter of the late Orlando and Mary (Armendo) Zannotti. She was raised in Worcester and graduated from Commerce High School before beginning her career with as an accounting secretary with Milton Weinstein and later for Gerald Solomon. She also worked for many years in the school cafeteria at Harlow Street School. Carol enjoyed tap dancing, reading, and spending winters in Dunedin, Florida with her husband.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Joseph G. Caramiello; three children, Joseph G. Caramiello and his wife, Mary of Auburn, Michael Caramiello and his wife, Marilyn of Dudley and Debra Peterson and her husband, Eric of Florida; six grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Marisa and Michael Caramiello and Zachary and Stephanie Peterson.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Anthony Caramiello.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and aides at the Christopher House for the exceptional care they provided to Carol.
Family and friends are invited to a visiting hour on Wednesday, April 13th from 9:30-10:30am at Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston. A funeral Mass will be follow at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 23 Fales St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers Carol's family requests that memorial donations be considered to Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
