WORCESTER- Carol M. (Dumphy) Cote, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 7, 2020.

She was born in Worcester on May 19, 1940 a daughter of the late Thomas and Ora (Burpee) Dumphy. Carol was raised in the city and graduated from Classical High School. She met and married the late Robert Cote and together they were blessed with 8 beautiful and loving children.

Because her husband was enlisted in the United States Navy they traveled and lived in various places including the Philippine Islands, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Above all her family meant the most to her and she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes included shopping, decorating her home for all of the seasons and watching General Hospital and The Jerry Springer Show.

She leaves behind 8 children; Bobby, Judy, Pam, Tommy, Bruce, Lisa, Christine and Darnell, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by her twin brother Charlie and her best friend, Herbert Hertz.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life with a graveside service at 11:00am on Thursday, June 11th at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. Arrangements are in the care of the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
