Carol A. (Cote) Wolfe

Carol A (Cote) Wolfe, 72, passed away peacefully from a long journey with cancer on June 5, 2024.  She was predeceased by her husband, Dean E. Wolfe in 2015.  

Carol was born in Worcester, the daughter of Florence (Mercurio) and  Leo E. Cote.  She leaves behind her treasured family including her daughter, Alyssa Coffey of Sterling and her children Kaitlyn Coffey of Fitchburg and Emily Coffey of Sterling, daughter Shawna Munoz and husband Greg of AZ and their children Presley and Charlie; brother Ronald Cote and wife Kathy and their two daughters Danielle and Nicole of Sterling; several cousins whom she adored, especially Joanne Peeso.   Carol had many lifelong friends that held a  special place in her heart including her best friend, Carol Loader.  

Carol was a dedicated preschool teacher for 33 years at Christ Lutheran Preschool in West Boylston, a job that brought her much enjoyment.  In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering at her church, making children’s quilts for the Red Cross, working in her yard and traveling, which took her on many adventures. Carol was modest, hard-working, faithful, spiritual and sociable.  She truly was a fun-loving butterfly.  Above all, she loved and cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. We hope that the love and joy she put out in the world will continue through us all.

 Our beautiful Carol has gone home to Heaven. Her battle here is over. Our earth angel will now be able to flutter around and continue to put touches of joy throughout our lives no matter the distance, no matter the time. Thank you all for loving her and supporting her through all her health challenges and for allowing her to be her authentic self. Thank you for graciously letting her into your hearts, she got so much joy out of being there for everybody. 

Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Carol’s life with visitation on Monday June 10^th from 9:30am until 10:45am in St. Christopher's Parish, 950 W. Boylston St, Worcester, with a funeral Mass beginning at 11am.
