Carol J. (Van Vleck) Pratt

STERLING-Carol Jane (Van Vleck) Pratt passed in her sleep at her residence in Sterling, Ma., on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 8:45pm. She was surrounded by family and friends who cared for her at home, during a short-time decline in health, with health-care assistance by the dedicated and caring staff of Summit Elder Care of Leominster. She was visited by many family members and friends during this expected time of passing.

She was the loving wife of James P. Pratt who predeceased her on December 6, 2014, and mother of 6 boys; James L., G. Stephen, Edward P., David K., Thomas H. and Jonathan E. She has 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Carol was sister to deceased Richard VanVleck, Carlene (VanVleck) Hopson, Edward VanVleck, and remaining siblings Lawrence Cushman and Burt Cushman.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston with a Memorial Service at Heritage Bible Chapel, 182 Brook Station Road, Princeton at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 1st. Burial for both James and Carol will rest at the Massachusett's Veterans Cemetery in Winchendon, Ma. at a later date.
